The world of athletics isn’t an easy one. It’s a full-time commitment requiring personal sacrifice and a dedication to preparation. Nehemiah Benson began to form his incredible work ethic at a young age, spending time outside school and on the weekends practicing in pursuit of the ultimate goal: to compete at the top level as a Basketball Player.

Nehemiah Benson had a goal, which seemed quite simple considering the week he had: Score 40 points on senior night.The 6-foot-6 forward from Lutheran East exceeded that expectation by scoring 60 points Friday in a 124-75 home win vs. John Hay.

Nehemiah Benson, a senior at Lutheran High School and standout varsity boys’ basketball player for the Falcon’s, recently narrowed down his list of scholarship offers received to play basketball at the Division I collegiate level. The final list of eight universities includes Air Force, Ryder, NJIT, Columbia, Citadel, Mount St. Mary’s, Saint Francis and Cleveland State. Prior to finalizing the list of potential college destinations, Nehemiah had received upwards of 2.5 million dollars in scholarship offers!
Nehemiah is very special Athlete, his passion and skill makes him an awesome candidate for any D1 level program
